Brief Description
The Artists Web is an up and coming website helping artists promote and sell their work to a wider audience through The Internet. We are looking for a motivated freelancer to help with marketing and administration of the existing website and to play a key part in launching a Japanese version of the website. Ideally the candidate will have excellent communication and research skills plus good experience of both visual arts and the internet.ArtistWebについて
ArtistWebは、アーティストがインターネットを活用して自分の作品を国内及び海外に広め、販売するために作られたサイトです。このサイトは２年前に英国で設立され、今回日本語のサイトを開始するにあたり、マーケティングと事務の担当能力のある意欲的な方を探しています。できれば、コミュニケーションスキルと調査能力の他に、ビジュアルアートとインターネットの経験のある方を探しています。
Tasks And Responsibilities
You will be working with the technical director from the UK (residing in Tokyo) and there are a variety of different tasks:* Research, build and maintain relationships with contacts, art groups and organisations
* General Research
* Writing copy for publicity materials
* Translation into Japanese
* Helping with (non-technical) administration of the website, dealing with artists using the website, writing editorial content for the website.

Required
* Japanese Native Speaker* Business level English
* Basic IT and internet experience
* Interest in visual arts
* Initiative and Self motivation
* Residing in Japan
* Excellent communication and marketing skills
