in painting illustration

I was born in Eastbourne, Sussex in 1968 and have painted ever since I can remember. I studied Foundation Art at Eastbourne College of Art before specialising in Graphics and Illustration at Bournemouth College of Art.My work has been published by BBC Books, Longmans, Cassell, English Tourist Board, Element Books, Scholastic Publications and Modernart Editions.
I started to exibit paintings from my travels in the early 1990s and won the Art fot Youth prize in 1994. I regularly visit the Mediterranean for inspiration and lived on a Greek Island for 2 years.There I completed commissions to paint peoples houses and gardens, and enjoyed painting the local churches and beaches in watercolours. Some of this work is available in the Mediterranean section of this site.
