The Alocasia Polly is one of my favourite house plants. Sadly, this particular specimen has now died. However, it is still a very interesting plant to look at, whether you are an art lover or a plant lover! It is one of my most viewed images, probably due to the popularity of the plant itself as much as the image I created. I was drawn to the pattern and shape of the leaves, which I think are emphasised by the monochrome effect. In particular, I like the shiny appearance of the veined leaves which lead us to a very crisp, tapered tip. I can provide this as a photographic print of the original size, or up to an equivalent A3, depending on the aspect ratio. Alternatively, I can transfer this image onto a laminated bookmark, which could also be personalised with a name of your choice.
