A very bold painting of an idea that just sprang to my mind after looking through some old work of mine. It depicts someone tentatively dipping their toes into the water - probably the sea, but it could be a metaphor for trying new ideas or taking the plunge in a new direction of life. Bright acrylic painting for the blue waves of the sea, with subtle skin tones for the toes. A few splashes of water reach over the edge of the foot as it touches the water. Painted on good quality acrylic card, it has been framed with a silver metallic moulding, simple yet stunning to match the style of artwork here!
