An abstract painting of a rich green landscape. Painted in acrylic, each segment has textured underlayers which have all been overpainted using a lime green mix to bring all the colours together. Phthalo green, emerald green and viridian hue are also present. Painted completely with a palette knife, with various cross-strokes and scrapings to create the texture. The lines in gold were painted straight from the tube with a metallic acrylic paint. This painting will be varnished and signed, and comes supplied with a certificate of authenticity. This is a variation on my rich chocolate landscape, which I enjoyed painting, but on a much larger scale. The painting is continued around the edges.
