This 3-D painting depicts the cleaner areas of the lagoon, outside the canals which tend to get dirty and rancid at times. The waters of the lagoon are much clearer and the creatures that live there must be so much brighter looking not having the same pollution that the canals have which make them look so murky. I wanted to paint this in contrast to the one I created of the murky canals of the Island.
