I just love the sight of trees in blossom - with the promise of natures bounty to follow. I decided to paint this piece in close up for a change. Pastel was my choice of media as it enabled me to create that soft yet luminous quality seen in blossom. The painting will make a lovely focal point in say a bedroom or dining room situation.
